KRA:

 

  • Handling purchase, inventory management, vendor development, coordinating with vendors & other related functions of other item like office stationery, other part of production
  • Planning of Purchases order of other item.
  • Vendor Management & Development
  • Material Management of other items.
  • Inventory Management tries to maintain minimum inventory of other parts
  • Framing of purchase policies of purchase.
  • Taking decision on other items
  • Develop new source for purchase
  • Value analysis of parts
  •  Taking care of overall purchase of other parts & items

 

Role & responsibilities:

 

  • Handle Purchases of other parts & items
  • Vendor Management & Development
  • Material Management with minimum inventory method.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Negotiation with suppliers for other material & parts.
  • Preparation of purchase order and ensuring on time delivery.
  • Coordination with vendors, vendor database & development & procurement of materials, parts
  • Ensure timely order & delivery as per the schedule
  • Taking care of purchasing, inventory, MIS, vendor development, negotiations etc.
  • Develop and maintain database of traders.
  • To ensure the timely availability of input material in Manufacturing locations through effective production planning
  • To handle procurement of raw materials and packaging materials
  • To identify the Lead Time in procurement and acquire optimum inventory control
  • To ensure timely delivery as per required schedule
  • Follow up with the factories to delivery of finished goods as per schedule
  • Arrange of Q.C evaluation for the samples, sending quality reports to suppliers and arranging for corrected samples.
  • Follow-up with supplier whenever required.
  • Price reduction by eliminating supplier poor quality / rework
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Maintain minimum inventory level
  • Effective procurement plans.
  • Obtain material at minimum price by developing of new sources, prices negotiation with vendors,

 

Job profile:

 

  • BE (civil) or MBA/ PG/B.Com. with material management with _____ years of experience on construction industry.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of product used in construction industry.
  • Understanding of company’s policies & practice.

Good knowledge of excise, sales tax etc.
